Edo State Commissioner for Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Hon Zubairu Dada Abubakar has been commended by the Auchi Allied Association, AAA, for his contributions and commitment towards the development of Auchi Community and the state in general.
The AAA made up of sons and daughters of Auchi Kingdom gave the commendation during a reception in honour of Hon. Dada Abubakar in Auchi, Etsako West Local government area on December 24, 2023.
The Edo State Commissioner for Youth and Humanitarian Affairs who doubles as the Samali of Auchi was treated to a memorable reception in Auchi, his hometown as it is customary of sons and daughters of Auchi
The Worldwide President of Auchi Allied Association, Prince Abdulkarim Kadiri, congratulated Dada na Dada as he is fondly called, saying that his affable and consistent personality earned him the appointment and recognition by the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki .
HRH, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom who was represented by Prince H.M. Momoh, Daudu 1 of Auchi showered encomiums on Dada Abubakar, noting that his commitment to community development has earned him the title of Samali of Auchi which has now transcended into state recognition and he prayed for more growth for the guest celebrant and his family .
The event was also attended by Hon. Bawa Muhammed , Hon. Gani Akokhia, Member Representing the good people of Etsako West Constituency 2, Hon. Hussein Mustapha Lecky (Represented), former Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area, Hon. Yakson Musa , Heritage Daudus of Auchi, those from the Business/Corporate world and a host of others too numerous to mention who came to share in the joy of the celebrations.
Speaking about the person of Hon. Dada Abubakar, Chief Dauda Giwah , Sadoh Yekini Oshioma, Azeez Elama, and a cross section of respondents said that Hon Dada Abubakar is a religious, humble, social and committed person who puts community first before self.
They noted that his impeccable character has earned him recognitions across the country, adding that the younger generation of Auchi sons and daughters should emulate his life with a view to becoming worthy ambassadors of the Auchi Community.
On his part, Hon. Dada expressed his appreciation to sons and daughters of Auchi for the overwhelming show of love and
he thanked the leadership of the Auchi Allied Association, the Otaru-in-Council and the Edo State Government for the support, promising to continue to do his best at ensuring that the community and Edo state gets better.
