Big Brother Naija star, Doyin, has lamented about how hard it is to keep up the celebrity lifestyle in order to remain relevant in the industry.
The reality tv star stated someone must be rich or have a support system inorder to keep up with celebrity lifestyle.
Taking to the microblogging platform, she advised aspiring influencers to have a solid support system and financial resources before becoming a celebrity.
According to Doyin, being a public figure requires a stable amount of money to maintain a rich lifestyle and image.
This involves personal grooming to fashion, travel, and other expenses, the cost of living as a public figure can quickly add up.
She wrote:
‘I’ll tell you this much….the public figure lifestyle is damn expensive! Long story short….do not get into this space if you don’t have money or a solid support system. You need money to make money’.

In another news, Doyin slammed, her colleague, White money over his allegation that his female colleagues are dating wealthy men.
The drama began when Big Brother Naija season 6 winner, Whitemoney was dragging his female colleagues in his podcast.
During a podcast session with Nedu and others, Whitemoney stated that some ex female housemates of BBNaija do beg him to introduce them to his brand and business partners.
He added that ladies don’t fancy a broke man and many of them could not manage with a broke man until he becomes rich.
He mentioned Doyin, who queried him for his statement and asked if the reality star could date a broke man.
The video has since stirred drama as many camped with Whitemoney’s statement while others drag him for insulting the ladies who participated in the show.
This didn’t seat well with Doyin who took to her Instagram page and blasted White money, calling him an ‘overbleached’ man.
In another twist, Doyin lamented that she regretted paying more attention to love than brick and lace.
She wrote,
