The Ekiti State Police Command has initiated an investigation following the concerning disappearance of 35-year-old cyclist Hussain Ndagi, who has been missing since July 31, 2024. Ndagi, a resident of the Oke-Bola area in Ado Ekiti, left his home early in the morning, and efforts to locate him have so far proven unsuccessful.
According to Sunday Abutu, the Police Relations Officer for the Ekiti State Police Command, Ndagi was last seen leaving his residence on his red Bajaj motorcycle at approximately 6 AM. Since that time, there has been no trace of him, prompting the police to take action.
In an official statement released on Tuesday, titled “Missing Person,” Abutu detailed the circumstances of Ndagi’s disappearance. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that family and community members have been actively searching for him without any leads.
“Ndagi left home for an unknown destination and has not returned since. All efforts to ascertain his whereabouts have been futile,” Abutu stated.
Describing Ndagi’s physical characteristics, the police spokesperson mentioned that he is dark-complexioned, stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and speaks both Nupe and English fluently. Importantly, he has no tribal marks, which could aid in identifying him.
