Veteran nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has caused a stirr online as she revealed she is still unbroken.
The screen diva revealed this during an interview with OakTV. The host asked her about her body counts and Destiny Etiko surprised many when she replied that she is still a virgin at 33.
Giving reasons for her status, she blames it on her crippling social anxiety and not having a strong relationship.
Her words,
“I am still a virgin because of my crippling social anxiety…. I still have not had a relationship that has gone to that level”.
During the interview she said that she once sent a message to her colleagues about living a fake lifestyle. According to her such a lifestyle could drive away their destinies’ aides.
Her words,
“If you know you are managing your life, even if you are not managing your life there is no need to come unto social media and rant. You are this you are that, I own this I own that. You do not know when you are chasing your destiny helper. Don’t come and be saying you have what you do not have. You do this you do that. It doesn’t pay.
Why I’m saying this is. Me wey get money, you fit see me I go tell you say. My sister u dey manage. You sef think say ah Nawa oh. I been think say this person get that kind money sef but she’s managing if I get any link, I go link am. Stop living fake lives”.
In the same vein Nollywood actress and a Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Cindy Okafor, has lamented about her struggles as a virgin. Cindy disclosed this while commenting on an Instagram post about virginity.
According to Cindy, it hasn’t been difficult for her to keep her virginity but she’s managing the situation well.
Her words,
“It has been difficult keeping my virginity, but I’ll stay strong”.
Also a former Big Brother Naija ‘Shine ya Eyes’ housemate, Anita Singh, also known as Nini disclosed that she is a virgin.
She said she has had up to seven pregnancy scares during the seven weeks she had spent on the show. In a conversation with her heart throb, Cross, he accused Nini of being secretive.
He said,
“You have to understand that I believe that you have my back and I have your back. I believe that you aren’t being your real self in this house. Like you keep giving us half side of you, not the full side.
“But anything you tell me, I’ll believe and can go with it. So tell me the truth have you had sex with Saga?”.
Reacting Nini said,
“I am a virgin. I said I’m a virgin. Is it your virginity? You don’t know me well enough to be sure that I’m not. What do you want me to tell you? Like yesterday, I had a pregnancy scare before my period came and I have had a pregnancy scare seven times ever since I came to this house. Because sometimes, just like Mary got pregnant by Immaculate conception, I used to be scared it could happen to me.”
