Torino’s Federalberghi and the Egyptian Museum have teamed up to boost tourism in the city. Visitors staying at Federalberghi-affiliated hotels in the capital of Piedmont will soon be eligible to get a coupon for free entrance to the Egyptian Museum, in addition to the chance to take part in a unique thematic visit led by an Egyptologist, according to a recently negotiated agreement. The agreement’s stated objective is to maximise museum attendance all year round, but especially during the museum’s traditionally slower times of the year. The expiration date of the voucher is April 18, 2023 (excluding Easter Sunday and Monday). The title of the hour-long guided tour is “Travel perspectives between body and soul.” We can have this done on Thursday afternoon or Saturday early. “The tourist who comes to our city increasingly asks to live an exceptional and exclusive experience – says Fabio Borio, president of Federalberghi Torino – this agreement allows us to continuously offer new offers to our customers, helping to increase the attractiveness of the destination also in terms of seasonal adjustment.

All of this, he says, is possible because of the Egyptian Museum, a shining example of Turin’s cultural prestige and the home of the world’s second-most-valuable collection.
