Since Erik ten Hag set his sights on Amrabat as a new midfielder for Man Utd, the Premier League football club has been trying to negotiate a deal with Fiorentina. Rumors were spreading about Manchester United initially offering to get the Moroccan on a loan but it was declined – talks didn’t continue until a buy condition became the focal point of the deal.
Last week, all signs showed that the conversation over striking a deal for Amrabat seems optimistic for both Fiorentina and Manchester United.
Reports show that the offer for Amrabat was €2m which is to last for the entire season’s duration. Man Utd also agreed to an exit clause for Fiorentina if the deal doesn’t work out by January.
In his YouTube channel, Romano pointed out that the loan talks between Man Utd and Fiorentina were nothing but rumours. He said, “I’m told that Man Utd didn’t send any loan deal bid to Fiorentina. There have been so many rumours about that.”
“The only thing that happened today [Wednesday] is that Man Utd, through intermediaries, had conversations with Fiorentina. That’s what happened. They didn’t send a loan bid or anything like that.”
