The couple, who are both of the Gida Dubu region of the Bauchi city in the state, were said to have “underhandedly” carried the casualty to a specific house, where they went after her and thusly poured high temp water on her for purportedly dating the spouse of one of them.

Suspected kidnapper slumps, dies while trying to escape arrest 13th June 2023

This was made clear in a statement that was made available to journalists in the state on Tuesday by Ahmed Wakil, the Public Relations Officer for the Bauchi State Police Command.

According to Wakil, a Superintendent of Police, the incident took place on Saturday in the Gida Dubu Area of the city of Bauchi. Under the direction of the Divisional Police Officer, members of the “C” Division made the arrests of the perpetrators.

He said, “On June 10, 2023, at 2.00 pm, police analysts appended to ‘C Police Divisional Base camp of Bauchi City, followed up on believable data accessible available to them that on a similar date at 1.07 pm, one Sa’adatu Abdurrahman Liman, female (19) living
behind old air terminal, Bauchi, was underhandedly brought into a house arranged at Gida Dubu area of Bauchi by one Fatima Muhammad Sani, female (17) and her sister, Zulaihat Muhammad Sani (15), both of Gida Dubu region.

They conspired to batter the aforementioned Saadatu and then poured boiling water over her. She suffered serious injuries to her cheeks and neck as a result.

“The intolerable demonstration was executed by the suspects on the record that the casualty is dating one of the suspect’s spouses.

“On receipt of the report of the episode, a group of investigators drove by the Divisional Cop visited the scene, captured the guilty parties, and quickly surged the casualty to the emergency clinic for clinical treatment.”

He said that the guilty party and her assistant admitted to the wrongdoing over the examination and would be charged to as needs be court for arraignment of the supposed laid out offenses.
