Pheelz mentioned the EP’s triple-sidedness in an interview with Dada Boy Ehiz

Pheelz, a multi-talented musician and producer from Nigeria, has announced that his first release, an EP named “Pheelz Good,” will be released in 2023.

Pheelz mentioned the EP’s triple-sidedness in an interview with Dada Boy Ehiz. He reveals that he has three distinct personalities: a loving boy, a bad boy, and a hitmaker.

“There are three emotions that makeup “Pheelz Good.” The artwork I made for it features three different masks. ‘Stand By You,’ and ‘Pheelz Like Summer,’ both included in the project, are representative of the ‘Loverboy,’ as I’ve dubbed the first mask.

The central mask is The Bad Guy. This is why we got songs like “Finesse” and “Ballin’.” On the EP, you’ll also find a track titled “Pablo Escobar.” That’s from when the EP was about the Bad Guy. Another man, dubbed The Gbedu Guy, may be seen on the far right of the picture. There are tracks like “Electricity,” “Ewele,” and “Emi Laye Mi” on that EP. They sound like gbedu music, which is why there’s a character named “The Gbedu Guy” who wears a gbedu mask. Their cover art perfectly captures the EP’s range of emotions.”

The Grammy winner also talks about how much fun it is to try new things in his career as a performer.

“The first noticeable difference is that there is far more air travel. Greater mobility was experienced. I mean, it’s incredible, dude; I love being on this side of the stage, where I can make music entirely by myself as both producer and performer, immersing myself entirely in the genre and developing a style that is uniquely Pheelz. I like producing as much as the next guy, but never before have I been able to do the kind of work in which I feel so strongly.”

Although Pheelz has not set a specific release date for the album, he did say that it would be released sometime in 2023.
