Nkechi Blessing has revealed the reason why she twerked for the Ooni of Ife in a recent update.

Nkechi Blessing, a well-known actress in Nollywood, provided an explanation on Monday for why she twerked for the Ooni of Ife, despite the criticism she has received for her actions.
Recall that the actress caused a stir on social media on Sunday after a video of her twerking for the monarch went viral. This caused others to share their thoughts and emotions.

Nkechi Blessing clarified the reason for the dance by revealing that she was losing the dancing competition to a coworker. As a result, the reason she improvised with the twerking was because she wanted to win the competition.

In addition to this, she disclosed that she was paid the sum of N250 for dancing in such a provocative manner.

“About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition, as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don Dey win me, I say make I improvise but las las I came second and walked away with 250k courtesy of the king @ooniadimulaife,” he wrote on Instagram. “About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition, as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don Dey win me, I say make I I hope you have a long life, sir. She posted a message on Instagram that read, “God bless you abundantly for spreading smiles on the faces of millions.”

Still, the explanation does not satisfy the Internet users, as seen by the fact that they continue to make fun of her while a select handful comes to her defense. They think that her twerking for the Ooni is part of her plan to woo him into making her his seventh wife, and they feel that this is why she did it.

In spite of this, as she was replying to comments, she acknowledged those of one of her followers and quoted her as stating “Person shake yansh collect 250k, you wey borrow data dey troll, some people Mumu eh.”

In the meantime, Nkechi Blessing’s ex-boyfriend, Opeyemi Falegan, with whom she has been engaged in a war of words recently, has criticized her for twerking for the Ooni, albeit he refrained from labeling her an insane woman. He attacked her for the move.

Falegan posted a Yoruba proverb on his Instagram page, in which he discussed the difficulties that come with having a crazy relative.

“Were dun wo kose bi lomo, Oma sheee oooooo,” he said in one of his messages. “Mad person is lovely to watch, but nobody wants them as a child.
