Mo Abudu, the Nigerian media executive, has made several partnerships and collaborations with global media giants in recent years. Here are some of them:

Netflix: Abudu’s production company, EbonyLife Media, signed a multi-title deal with Netflix in 2018. Under the deal, EbonyLife produced three Netflix Originals – “Chief Daddy”, “Crazy, Lovely, Cool” and “The Wedding Party 2” – that were streamed worldwide on the platform.

Sony Pictures: EbonyLife also signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television in 2018 to co-develop three scripted TV projects. The partnership aimed to create unique African stories for a global audience.

ViacomCBS: In 2019, Abudu collaborated with ViacomCBS to launch two TV channels on its pay-TV platform, DStv. The channels, BET Africa and BET International, showcase African and diaspora content to viewers across the continent.

Canal+ Group: In 2020, EbonyLife signed a multi-year deal with Canal+ Group to produce and distribute a slate of African content. The partnership aimed to promote African storytelling and increase the visibility of African talent on the international stage.
