One of Nigeria’s most respected Sports Lawyer and best Team Manager in NPFL, who recently got married to Barrister Chisom Ozoemena-Ezeaku, spoke on how he met, fell in love and married his wife.
Amobi, the Team Manager of Rangers Int’l FC, revealed that some love stories make you swoon, some seem to be right out of a movie. Nevertheless, every love story is unique and must be celebrated and cherished.
Most bachelors are wary of getting married out of fear that it will make them miserable and get in the way of their ambitions. But going by Barrister Amobi Ezeaku’s experience, it should make you a better person and give you something to live for.
“Getting married has transformed me into a better person. It has increased my desire to step up my hustle and do more now that I have more mouths to feed. I now don’t hesitate to get up at sunrise; the stakes are high, I can’t afford to slacken or play second fiddle when I have a family.”
The astute football administrator said he was attending a church conference at his final year in the university when he first met Barrister Chisom.
“I met her at the university, then I was in the final year and she was in her first year and here we’re today. To me, the greatest thing that has happened to us is getting to fulfil and actualize the dream of having to live as husband and wife, and hoping that we will live like this together forever till death do us part.
“It’s a wonderful thing, love is a beautiful thing especially when you found the one that your heart beats for.
“I first got that attraction when we went for a conference in church and I was praying when I saw her too innocent and we get talking and realized she loves basketball and Manchester United. I was the captain of my school team and we have a lot of things in common, the soul doesn’t lie, it knows what it wants.
“I still have time for domestic housework despite my tight schedule, I cook, and I do the laundry, clean the house and before I got married I do this thing and the fact that someone has come as a helper should not stop you from doing.
