The people of Abia State are jubilating on the streets of Umuahia, the Abia State capital, as the labour party Governorship candidate, Alex Otti, emerge victorious at the poll.
In celebration of his win supporters of the Labour Party and its candidate in the March 18 governorship election, Alex Otti, took to the streets to jubilate.
Otti of the Labour Party polled 175,466 votes while his major opposition the Peoples Democratic Party candidate polled 88,526 votes.
Otti was declared the winner of the poll by Independent National Electoral Commission’s the Returning Officer, Professor Nnenna Oti, having polled 175,466 votes, which is the highest vote polled.
