The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Sokoto State has declared the election into the federal house of representatives as inconclusive.
The commission in it’s update stated that only one among the 11 House of Representatives elections conducted in the state was concluded while the remaining 10 are inconclusive.
According to INEC this excludes all three senatorial districts which have also been declared as inconclusive earlier by the various returning officers in each of the three Senatorial district headquarters in the state.
The election which was inconclusive, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 24,792 votes while the APC candidate polled 22,497 votes.
