“In Memoriam: Celebrating the Legacy of Late Deaconess Enoh Abam- A Life of Love, Faith, and Community Service”

 

On behalf of obaland magazine team, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Elder (Chief) Usani Ornini Abam, particularly in the wake of the passing of his beloved mother, Late Deaconess (Mrs) Enoh  Abam

It is with profound respect and sincere empathy that we acknowledge the life and legacy of Late Deaconess Enoh. Her departure at the age of 83 on December 8th, 2023, marks the end of a journey characterized by unwavering devotion and exemplary service.

Born in the serene town of Aneja in Ijom, Ugep, Cross River State, Nigeria, Deaconess Enoh was not just a cherished mother; she was a beacon of love as a doting grandmother, a source of support as a caring sister, a pillar of strength as a beloved aunt, and a loyal companion as a friend to many.

Her role as the Ambassador of Aneja town reflected her deep commitment to her religious community, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. This commitment extended beyond her immediate family, creating a legacy of faith and community service that will endure.

To honor and celebrate this remarkable woman, a Service of Songs will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2024, at 5 pm, at her residence – a place filled with cherished memories at No 258 Iwara Ofem Street, Anoja Ijom, Ugep, Cross River State.

The Funeral/Burial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at 10:00 am, at The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Njelekoko Area Headquarters, Central Field, Ugep. This solemn occasion provides an opportunity for family, friends, and well-wishers to pay their final respects.

A Thanksgiving Service will follow on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at 9:00 am, at The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Njelekoko Area Headquarters, Central Field, Ugep, Cross River State.

The Interment and Reception will take place immediately after the Funeral/Burial Service, following the directions provided."In Memoriam: Celebrating the Legacy of Late Deaconess Enoh Yakah Aballi - A Life of Love, Faith, and Community Service"

This gathering will not only be a farewell but also a celebration of a life well-lived, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and community spirit. As we collectively remember Deaconess Enoh Yakah Aballi, let us join hands in supporting the family during this time of loss.
