In Chieri, drugs were sold with telephone calls and “rings”: six arrests, 6 kilos seized, thirty customers reported

The initial step in the drug transaction is the phone conversation between the dealer and the buyer. A site where all the details were worked out, including the schedule and the meeting spot.

To further reassure the customer and confirm the dose and location of the “exchange of commodities,” the pusher next “rings” him up on the phone.

That’s what the Chieri Company’s carabinieri found, and it led to the implementation of six preventative measures against as many persons (five Italians and one Albanian) after getting the “green light” from the Turin prosecutor’s office. Possession with intent to distribute drugs is the charge against them. Five of these six are currently incarcerated, with only one on house arrest.

The detectives believe that a well-organized crew has taken over the Chieri area store and has been running things there for some time.

So much so that one of them bragged about working with the “bigwigs of the Turin drug store” and became the “for so many drug addicts.”

Intense day-and-night surveillance by plainclothes carabinieri resulted in the “flushing out” of thirty consumers.

More than 6 kg of illegal substances, including hashish, marijuana, and cocaine, were confiscated during the investigations, and all clients have been identified and reported to the appropriate authorities.
