I went into music when my dance crew went on strike  -Iroro Lyon 

Meet Delta born comedian and singer who is about to blow the mind of Believers with his music and comedy kits, he chatted with Obaland Magazine Chidinma Tijani recently about his latest single and more

Can we meet you?

My name is Iroro Lyon, I’m from Delta State, but live in Lagos State. I Schooled at Oghara Polytechnic, I’m an ND holder. I’m from a family of five and the last kid .

What got you into Music?

I went into Music when my Dance Crew went on strike. I’m a rapper and a singer.I didn’t learn how to Rap or Sing because it’s a natural thing, I will say it’s like a gift. I started with rap though, then alongside, I found out I could sing. As for comedy, I have been a funny person right from time.

Who inspired you into music?

I was inspired by my brother and boss, Kelly Lyon, and I thank God and give him all the glory for having a brother that loves Jesus the way he does and also a big thanks to our spiritual Father Rev Chris Oyakhilome training and helping him grow in Christ.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?

The music I create is Godly and full of Jesus because I have a slogan, which is no Jesus no music.
What is your creative process like?

My creative process is highly spiritual and inspiring because I create my music with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Who would you most like to collaborate with? If you could go open a show for any Artist who would it be?

If I’m to collaborate with any Artist, I will go for testimony Jagan, because he has my kind of ginger.
The one message I have to give to my fans, is to keep loving Jesus and keep loving for him no Mata what.
Do you sing in the shower? What songs? What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Yeah, sure I sing in the shower, and when I do, I’m mostly singing in tongues worshipping God.
And if I’m into music right now, I will be in the house of God working for Jesus like I’m now.

Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues?

I have ministered on Rev. Chris Oyakhilome Global Platform and that is the best and most favorite platform in the world.

Do you have any Upcoming Shows?

Yeah, sure I have an Upcoming program. December 31st service with Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, which is going to be so glorious and effective in the lives of everyone all around the world.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

The internet has been positive to the music industry because we are using it to promote the Gospel through our music.

What is your favorite song to perform? Which famous musicians do you admire?

My most favorite song to perform is my new single that is about coming out, titled spiritual Guy.
The most famous Musician I admire the most is Kelly Lyon because he does music from a point of rest.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

The best advice I have been given was that I should stay connected to Jesus no matter what, and that has kept me going.

If you could change anything about the Music  Industry, what would that be?

If I could change anything in the Music Industry is to convert every Circular Artist to Gospel Artist.

Tell us about your latest single you dropped on the 26th of December?

It’s dance hall music, I will advise everyone to put on their dancing shoes. My fans should get ready to dance and worship the Lord.
