During Obaland magazine interview with Ex- commissioner of art and culture to Edo State Hon. Osaze Osewmegie Ero conveyed the need of working hand to hand with the Edo State Government on the issues that have to do with Edo Cultural Art and culture, He also Emphasizes the matter arising from his imprisonment in the Italian prison, Com. Osaze Expresses saying” I, first of all, thank all those who help in praying for me and also I thank the Edo State Governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki for his Imagine support that he gave to me during my stay in the Italian Prison, Nevertheless there were a lot of people who went propagating some Wrong Information about what lead to my arrest, to the Extent of some who started calling me names like Money Laundry, Theft, Human trafficker, and so many other names, Please those of you who are into social media paparazzi, please you people should try to get the fact before propagating matters online, this very important because it can cause a lot of problems on many individuals. He continues by saying “We don’t have mafias in Nigeria, So those boys or girls that are constituting nuisance in there can be convicted on the crime they committed, instead of imputing the (416 BIS) of the Italian Mafia criminal Code.
Commissioner Ero Osaze disclosed the physical and emotional pains he went through during the time he spent in Italian Prison and the disappointment he got from the Nigeria Embassy in Rome Italy. Because of the malicious attitude from the Italian prosecutor towards my case, I have resolved to speak to the world, making them know of some innocent people who have been convicted of the same Italian criminal code (416bis) without proper investigations.
