Guests who graced the birthday celebration of Benin music maestro, Esther Edokpoyi is also known as the Lady of songs have described her as a rare gem who has contributed immensely to the development of entertainment both in Edo state and Nigeria in general.
The guests which comprise of friends and family members made this assertion on Monday during the 40th birthday celebration of the Benin entertainer which drew the presence of individuals across the various facets of life.
According to them; Esther’s success both in her marital and professional career is a result of her steadfastness and focus in her chosen field.
“Sister Easther is a nice person and she is a genius in her field, her musical career life has been so wonderful.
“She helps those around her like no man business.
The daughter, Sarah Koko while showering encomium on her mother said her prayer is and do better than her mum.
For the celebrant, Esther Edokpoyi while speaking with Obaland magazine opined that celebrating 40 makes her feel like celebrating 100 all because she never imagined 40 years owing to the life she lived before she discovered her music talent.
