The Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commissions (ICPC), officials have reportedly stormed the Polling Unit of Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s PU 024, Ward 07, Ungwan Sarki, in Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state.

The ICPC officials arrived around 9.35 am in the morning while some voters were casting their votes.

INEC officials arrived early at the polling unit with materials and the election commenced at 8.30 am in most of the polling units in the state.

As at the time INEC and ICPC officials arrived, the governor was yet to arrive at his polling unit unlike the presidential election when he was among the first set of people to vote.

In the presidential election of February 25, Governor El-Rufai won his polling unit with his party APC scoring 173 votes, while the opposition party Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) got 134 votes.
