At a meeting with the Benin River Port (BRP) Project Committee and delegates from Belgium, Edo State Governor His Excellency Godwin Obaseki reached an agreement with the Port of Antwerp on their collaboration and the completion of the Benin River Ports project.
Our collaboration with Belgium’s Antwerp Port will help bring the Benin River Port Project to a successful conclusion. We are thrilled to be working with them on such an important initiative, which will help propel industrialisation and economic development in Edo State.
Through our collaboration with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the port of Benin will evolve from a cargo handling port into an industrial complex that oversees industrial output throughout several value chains.
The conference was attended by representatives from both the BRP and the Port of Antwerp International, with Mr Greg Ogbeifun serving as Chairman of the BRP Project Committee and Mr Phillippee Droesbeke serving as Manager of Ports Project for the International Port of Antwerp. Both males are depicted down below.
