Edo State Government Commended by Uromi Peoples Movement for Reviewed Security Architecture

The President of  Uromi Peoples Movement, UPM, Engr. Victor Okoduwa has commended  Edo State government for reviewing the security architecture in the state which has made the state  safe and calm.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Public Safety and Security, Hon. Kingsley Uwagbale in his office, the UPM President said they are happy with  the work  going on in the state security architecture.
“We members of The Uromi Peoples Movement, a non political organization have come to encourage you to do more for the security situation to improve. We have come to inform you that we are willing to collaborate with the state government to improve security in the state and Uromi in particular.
“The movement raised  over One Million Naira  which was used to purchase boots and torch lights to support the security outfit in Uromi in the month of September 2021, We have given scholarships, written a book on Uromi History and we are now planning to launch a book written on late Chief Anthony Enahoro, the man who first moved the motion for Nigeria’s independence,” he added.
The Commissioner of Public Safety and Security, Hon Kingsley Uwagbale expressed  appreciation for the visit by his kinsmen and he noted that he is proud that his people have come to visit him to encourage him to be hard working.
According to him, ” the state government is doing everything possible to make Edo state Safe for everybody by reviewing the security architecture, which includes  ensuring  that the vigilantes are properly trained. Any one not trained cannot work for us.”,
Other members of Uromi Peoples Movement at the courtesy visit which was used to present a congratulatory card to the Commissioner  are, Dr.  Edwin Enabor, Ms. Mabel Okoiruele, Mr. Osoize Akhere Paul and the General Secretary, Eubaldus Enahoro,
