Nigerian reggae super star and Africa’s reggae pioneer Evi Edna Ogholi , honoured by blessed memory of music legend Majeck Fashek as the “Queen of Nigeria reggae” or by the media and west Africans as the “Africa’s Queen of Reggae” had finally disclosed her official date of birth, during an interview hosted by a national radio Flo. 94. 9fm in Nigeria on the 13th December 2020.
Since the living legend vaccated from the entertainment scene for a long period of time, it has been speculating on various credible news that Evi Edna Ogholi was born 6th July 1965 without hearing from the music legend.
Finally she had unveiled her official birth date to the general public for record purposes. Evi Edna Ogholi also revealed her actual date of birth to Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organisation’s president “Ambassador Becky .E. Emwindonmwanifo” that she was born on the on the 6th of July 1970, and that she started her music career in 1987, as she bagged the title of a brand Ambassador of Hope and Peace, the recognition she officially received from a house hold name non profit organisation “Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organisation , extablished in Nigeria and Ireland. . Recall she also told Obaland Magazine entertainment editor, that she was born in 6th July 1970 “online news shouldn’t be considered for my date of birth, without knowing my details I. i have to unveil my age to my fans” she said.
