National Youth Parliament, Hon. Daniel Uwadia, has been appointed as the Director of Youth Affairs

A former member of the National Youth Parliament, Hon. Daniel Uwadia has been appointed as the Director of Youth Affairs in the Office of the Ambassador of African Union (AU) Economic, Social and Cultural Council (AU ECOSOCC – Nigeria).

In a statement announcing the appointment, the Youth Envoy, AU ECOSOCC – Nigeria, Ahmed Buhari, said the appointment was based on his knowledge and wealth of experience in handling youth activities.

He said, “I am pleased to inform you of your appointment as the Director of Youth Affairs to the office of the Ambassador & AU Agenda 2063 Youth Envoy.

The appointment is based on your knowledge, wealth of experience in handling youth activities, and personal qualities of hard work, honesty, and absolute loyalty.

“I will expect you to utilize all these qualities in facing the challenges of your office to facilitate the attainment of our collective goals and agenda.” Ambassador Buhari noted

“While congratulating you on your well-deserved appointment, I pray to the Almighty God to guide and protect you in the discharge of these responsibilities of your new office. This appointment takes immediate effect, please.”

Uwadia served as a member of the National Youth Movement representing Edo State and served as Minority Leader of the Parliament
